KARACHI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had misled nation about Pakistan’s impending default. Addressing press conference here, he said that federal government failed to stabilise teetering economy and yet has audacity to put all blames on previous govt.

He maintained inflation is hitting public hard and everyone is experiencing its shocks at all level as Pakistan is facing financial challenges one after another. Price of basic necessities like oil, sugar and flour continued to soar, he added. Federal government made many promises to people to fix economy but they all fell apart, he said. Jhagra also lambasted federal government stating that those who criticised PTI’s government for bowing to International Monetary Fund themselves kowtowed to international lender.
