KARACHI: Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem visiting New Karachi’s Five-D area, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner New Karachi address long-standing encroachments. He inspected illegal shops constructed on nullahs, issuing orders to demolish approximately 1,200 structures.

Meanwhile, meeting chaired by Taha Saleem, attended by Municipal Commissioner New Karachi, KMC Enforcement Directors, concerned DSPs, K-Electric and KDA officials finalised plans for an operation to begin today, aiming to clear illegal encroachments and restore public spaces.

In past, DC Central have taken numerous effective steps to get rid of illegal encroachments with an intent to ensure that no public spaces should face hindrances due to encroachments. Multiple operations done in past yielded fruitful results and this drive is again continuing at fast pace.
