KARACHI: Adil Khan Zai, President of the Central Lawyers Forum Karachi, has praised Deputy Commissioner of Central District, Taha Saleem, for his initiative to reactivate the Civil Defence Department in the area.

Speaking at a public gathering, Adil Khan Zai stated that the Deputy Commissioner’s decision reflects a clear understanding of local issues and current circumstances, aimed at ensuring prompt and effective response during potential major accidents or unforeseen incidents.

He further noted that voluntary recruitment of young men and women into the Civil Defence Department will provide them with practical opportunities to utilize their skills, while encouraging engagement in positive and constructive activities.

This initiative is expected to not only foster a spirit of public and national service among the youth but also promote participation in welfare and development-oriented activities.
