Hailey Bieber admitted to have spoken to Selena Gomez after marrying singer’s long-time ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. In an appearance on Call Her Daddy podcast, she spoke deeply about drama that public put on Rhode Skincare founder since tying knot with sorry singer. She first addressed allegations that Justin had cheated on Selena with Hailey as timeline of breakup and marriage was too close for comfort.

Host Alex Cooper asked if she was ever romantically involved with her now-husband when he was still with Selena. “No. Not one time,” Hailey pointed out.  “When he and I started hooking up, or anything of that sort, he was not in any relationship. It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship, I was raised better than that.

“I understand how it looks from outside, but that was a situation where I know for a fact that it was right thing for them to close that door, but of course, there’s a very long history there and I respect that a lot. I don’t want to talk on either one of their behalf’s.” She had a message for Selena’s fans, who have not shied away from reminding her of Justin’s ex. “You’re not obligated to like me, but I believe that no matter what, there can always be mutual respect between people. To me that means, you don’t have to say anything. Behind this screen is a real person with a brain and a heart, so know that what you say can have impact.” Hailey then concluded that everything was okay between her and Selena as she had spoken to her after wedding but didn’t not elaborate much.
