KARACHI: Sindh Assembly opposition leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said that arrest of Fawad Chaudhry in Election Commission contempt is surprising. Election Commission is playing role for destruction of democracy and Constitution, he said in statement.

Opposition leader said that Election Commission had openly violated orders of Supreme Court and that arrest of Fawad Chaudhry in dark of night was illegal.

Fawad is brave soldier of Imran Khan and entire Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf stands with him, he added. Haleem said that imported government started taking actions after bankruptcy adding those people wanted to start civil war in country.

He strongly condemned arrest of Fawad Chaudhry and said that 'imported' government had put country at stake in slavery of foreigners, while law of jungle had been implemented in country, as public opinion was not given any importance.

Haleem said storm of inflation hit country and further preparations were being made for hiking inflation, while people has been forced to commit suicide due to high inflation, as mother and father committed suicide in Tando Allahyar.
