LAHORE: Group of lawmakers led by former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Khan Tareen held 'consultative meeting' to discuss 'future course of action' amid country's political situation. According to details, high-level consultative meeting was held here, headed by Jahangir Tareen that discussed current political situation of country.

Opposition leader in National Assembly Raja Riaz, Aoun Chaudhry, Nauman Langriyal, Ishaq Khakwani, Ajmal Cheema, former members of Punjab Assembly and current members of National Assembly attended.

During meeting, participants decided to play an active role in country's politics again. Some members suggested creating political identity in name of 'Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Nazariati'.

Tareen group also decided to contact more former members of National Assembly and leaders of PTI. Participants of meeting were of view that PTI Chief Imran Khan's policies had destroyed party.

Due to Imran Khan's policies, large number of party leaders expressed their intention to dissociate from Khan's politics. Group has decided to hold more meetings while keeping an eye on domestic politics.
