KARACHI: The Karachi Bar Association (KBA) has requested the District and Sessions Judges of Karachi not to pass adverse orders on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, due to the continuous spell of heavy rainfall that has disrupted life across the city.
In an official notification issued on Tuesday, KBA General Secretary Muhammad Ghulam Rehman Korai highlighted that the persistent downpour has severely affected transportation and caused immense hardship for both lawyers and litigants trying to reach the City Courts.
Under these unavoidable circumstances, it is most humbly requested that the Hon’ble Courts may kindly not pass adverse orders in cases where the learned counsel for either side are unable to appear before the courts on Wednesday, the notification read.
The KBA also urged that necessary directions be issued to subordinate courts in this regard.
