Karachi community in Germany hosts Ramadan iftar-dinner

FRANKFURT: The Karachi Community in Germany organized a grand Ramadan Iftar dinner, a tradition they follow every year.

The event took place at Frankfurt’s Salbau Nord, where guests began arriving from 4 pm onwards. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Abdul Rahman. Janab Anwar Ahmed then recited a beautiful naat (poem) in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The audience comprised of people from Frankfurt and surrounding areas, as well as those who traveled from afar.

Hafiz Muhammad Mumtaz Hussain delivered a lecture on the virtues and blessings of Ramadan. Muhammad Zain also spoke in German, highlighting the importance of the holy month, which was well-received by the audience. The evening also featured naats by Syeda Maimoona Hashmi, Janab Umair Ahmed, and young Asad Ahson, which were met with applause from the audience. As the sun set, Hafiz Abdul Rahman led the Maghrib prayer, which was attended by all.

A lavish dinner was then served to the guests, who appreciated the warm hospitality. The Karachi Community in Germany’s Ramadan Iftar dinner was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and spiritual connection among the attendees.
