Karachi Women Football Club wins Super Football Cup final

KARACHI: The final match of Karachi Super Women Football Cup 2023 was played at Ansar Union Football Stadium Korangi with the support of High-Q, Shafaq Cooking Oil and DKT International under Marta Women Football Club in which Karachi Women Football Club beat Hazara Academy by 1-0 and won the final.

 Yusra of the winning team scored the only goal in the 15th minute of the first half. Both teams performed well. Football fans in the stadium encouraged the players with great enthusiasm. Eight teams participated in the tournament. Zainab, the goalkeeper of Karachi Women's Football Club, won the award for the best goalkeeper. The player of the tournament was Faiza Batul of Hazara Academy.  The chief guest and CEO of High-Q, Atif Iqbal, speaking on the occassion, said that women footballers are very talented. Special Guest Digital Marketing Manager TKD International Atifa said that, organizing women's football tournament is a good initiative.

Rais Khan, founder and president of the tournament organizer Marta Women's Football Club, said that they are trying to develop football under your help. On this occasion, Director MWFC Danish Parvez Khan, Zeeshan Zafar, prominent industrialist Kamran Khan, former international footballer Muhammad Siddique, Zia Khan, Fahmida Zameer, Ali Chingizi, match referee Islam Ansari, assistant Wasif and Saleh and match commissioner Hafs and others were also present.
