KWSC inks accord with Wah Construction for new Hub Canal

Karachi: Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation inked agreement for new Hub Canal construction.

Chief Executive Officer of Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed signed an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) agreement for construction of new Hub Canal. Signing ceremony took place at MD Secretariat in Karsaz, attended by Director of Wah Construction Limited Shoaib Shafiq, Colonel Sabahuddin Chaudhry, 3G Consultant Sultan Dogar, Project Director Hub Canal Sikandar Ali and Chief Engineer Sewerage E&M Syed Sardar Shah. According to KWSC spokesperson, project includes construction of new Hub Canal and restoration of existing one. Additionally, Hub Pumping Station, rising main and Hub Filter Plant will be upgraded from their current capacity of 80 million gallons per day (MGD) to 100 MGD.
