Naval Chief underscores importance of national interests

Karachi: Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi underscored importance of sacrificing personal gains for sake of national interests while addressing Bahria University convocation.

Bahria University (Islamabad Campus) held its 25th Convocation Ceremony here and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi attended as chief guest and awarded medals and merit certificates to students achieving outstanding performance in academics, Pakistan Navy news release said.

Around 175 Under and Post Graduate students were awarded degrees including award of 14 Gold and 14 Silver medals. Chief of Naval Staff congratulated students and their parents.

He urged graduates to contribute to society and emphasised importance of possessing strong character and positive outlook on life.
