Pak, China vow to implementation of ML-1 project

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China reaffirmed their commitment to successful implementation of ML-1 project. This came during meeting between interim Minister for Communication, Maritime Affairs and Railways Shahid Ashraf Tarar and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong here.

Shahid Ashraf Tarar reiterated that ML-1 project has consistently remained top priority for government, emphasising current political will to translate these priorities into tangible on-ground developments.

Interim Minister expressed admiration for Chinese expertise and participation in ML-1 project. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong highlighted project’s foundation on mutual understanding and underscored its integral role in fostering cooperation and development. He said that we are fully committed to working with Pakistani side and our joint efforts aim to accelerate realization of ML-1 project.
