Punjab progressing under Maryam's leadership, says Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif lauded the services of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz,

"The situation is improving in Punjab due to the tireless efforts of Maryam Nawaz," he said. He expressed these views during a meeting with MPAs hailing from Rawalpindi, Attock, Murree, Chakwal, Wazirabad, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin districts.

The overall political situation, public issues and development projects were discussed during the meeting. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was also present on the occasion.

"You all are my strength. The problems of people are being resolved and Maryam Nawaz is working very hard," said the three-time prime minister.

Maryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif regularly monitors the performance of Punjab government. She said that Punjab is the only province where people can get the roti at cheapest price. The MPAs said that Maryam Nawaz has ensured merit and transparency in all her projects being initiated in Punjab.

The chief minister directed the officials concerned to timely complete the development projects in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi.
