SECP data leak case: IHC extends its order for not harassing Hijazi, Fakhar Durrani

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has extended its order for not harassing Arsalan Hijazi and Fakhar Durrani till November 2 in SECP data leak case.  Case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah here.

Petitioner Additional Director Arsalan Hijazi and Shahid Anwar counsel for SECP appeared in court. Shahid Anwar Bajwa told court SECP Commissioner has not been appointed since last 8 months and only two officers are working. When government changed then new minster came. This matter will be finalised if commissioner is appointed. 

CJ IHC remarked we fix next hearing for hearing final arguments. It is hoped minister will resolve issue of appointment of commissioner till then.  Court while seeking final arguments from respondents on November 2 adjourned hearing of case.–Online
