ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi said that his country was keenly interested to augment its investment news sectors of Pakistan economy. During call on meeting with Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar, he said that UAE was fully cognisant of development-oriented economic policies undertaken by present government.

Both dignitaries shared historical and long-standing ties between both countries and exchanged views on further boosting and strengthening these. Minister said that Pakistan and UAE were engaging in various areas including energy, refinery, petroleum and trade, however, still lot of potentials was unexplored. In this regard, Minister highlighted various new avenues in which both countries can trade and invest.

Minister welcomed proposal for UAE’s new investment in Pakistan and assured Ambassador of full support and cooperation. He shared sentiments of gratitude for goodwill and cooperation of Ambassador and hoped to enhance bilateral relations further in future.
