Adnan Siddiqui renowned television actor, host and producer gained widespread recognition in early nineties with his role in acclaimed drama serial 'Uroosa' alongside Mishi Khan.

His other popular dramas include 'Zaib Un Nisa', 'Ishq Junoon Deewangi', 'Mere Paas Tum Ho' and others.

In brief interview about 'Gentleman', Adnan Siddiqui shared details about development of Rehmati's character. He said, "We all sat down together and discussed how Rehmati's look, style and attitude should be.

Me, Sana, Haissam, and Humayun discussed it in detail. I have copied it from my friend who eats tobacco like this and also wears Surma and jewelry, so, I took inspiration from him.

Many people will now say this character resembles an Indian character, what can I say regarding this, it's good that they are comparing it with good work, good thing is that I haven't deliberately copied it but it happened which is okay because it was just character and he didn't have copyrights of that particular character"
