AJK President hails establishment of Kashmir Policy Research Institute

Muzaffarabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry said that main purpose of establishment of the Azad Kashmir government was to highlight Kashmir issue internationally to pave way for freedom of Indian occupied Kashmir from Indian clutches.

According to Kashmir Media Service report, speaking at briefing session held under aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell (JKLC), AJK president hailed establishment of Kashmir Policy Research Institute (KPRI), first ever AJK based think tank. Sultan Mehmood congratulated management of research institute for publication of research journal, arranging workshops and producing research materials on Kashmir.

“Under given circumstances, responsibilities of AJK government have increased manifold,” Sultan Mehmood said, adding that it was heartening to see AJK Government and JKLC have played an effective role in turning spotlight on Kashmir and sensitising world in much better way. AJK President said he has always tried to convey voice of Kashmiris to world and keep people of Azad Jammu Kashmir connected with issue.
