AMPAK BDF, PACC celebrate mango festival 2024, US Independence Day

KARACHI: AMPAK BDF announced hosting of Mango Festival 2024 and Independence Day celebration, event that showcased strengthening bilateral ties and cultural exchange between Pakistan and United States held at PACC.

Conrad Tribble Consul General of United States expressing gratitude for celebrating US Independence Day alongside Mango Festival emphasised significance of such events in bringing nations closer, fostering business and cultural activities and appreciated efforts of AMPAK BDF and PACC for organising celebration. Number of dignitaries including diplomats, business leaders, government officials and individuals from various walks of life attended. Consul General highlighted importance of US-Pakistan trade partnership, acknowledging US as Pakistan’s largest trade partner to date. He expressed his desire to take this partnership to next level in various sectors, exploring new avenues for cooperation and mutual growth. President AMPAK BDF Shaikh Imtiaz Hussain, leading mango exporter of Pakistan highlighting significant export volume of mangoes from Pakistan to various countries expressed his gratitude to Counsel General Conrad Tribble as chief guest. He extended his appreciation to President of PACC, Makhdoom Syed Riaz Ali and his team for their efforts in making event success. Makhdoom Riaz Ali thanked AMPAK BDF for organising event.

Both organisations committed to continued collaboration in future, aiming to strengthen relationship between two nations. Festival featured an array of delicious mango dishes and drinks. Diverse varieties of mangoes were displayed. Cake-cutting ceremony was held to commemorate US Independence Day.
