Arts Council Karachi organises ‘Urdu Haiku Mushaira’

KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organised ‘35th Annual Urdu Haiku Mushaira’ titled ‘70th Anniversary of Friendship’ in Karachi in connection with 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Japan.

Haiku Mushaira moderated by Ruksana Saba and Shahdab-ud-din. Mahmood Sham, Wazahat Naseem, Dr. Shadab Ehsani, Safdar Siddique Razi, Khush Bakht Shujaat, Tajdar Adil, Dr. Jamal Naqvi, Naseem Nazish, Akhtar Saeedi, Rashid Noor, Zahid Hussain Zahid Johari, Meraj Jami, Salman Siddiqui, Sarwat Sultana Sarwat, Yasir Chaghatai, Sohail Ahmed Siddiqui, Fazil Jamili, Khalid Moeen, Alauddin Khanzada, Khalida Uzma, Anbareen Haseeb Anbar, Amna Alam, Dr. Qamar Abbas Rizvi, Kamran Nafis, Zaheer Zarif, Rubina Tahseen Benah, Parveen Nazir Soomro, Abida Ghangharu, Shabbir Nazish, Shahida Kanwal, Shazia Alam Shazi, Dr. Fatima Hassan, Farast Rizvi, Kasunori Maksuda and Shahzad Niaz presented poems in Japanese language. Number of citizen participated in Haiku Mushaira and enjoyed it.
