RAWALPINDI: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) issued arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and 28 other PTI members in case pertaining to May 9 incident, wherein military installations came under ambush.

ATC Judge Malik Ejaz Asif issued non-bailable arrest warrants for newly-elected chief minister and ordered police to present him before court on April 2. Arrest warrants against Ali Amin Gandapur were issued in case registered at City Police Station.

The warrants were issued in 12 cases of arson and vandalising, including the attack on key installations such as the GHQ, Army Museum, office of a sensitive institution, and a metro bus station.

Earlier in day, Peshawar High Court ordered federal government to provide details of cases against Ali Amin Gandapur. Division bench of high court comprises of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Shakeel Alhmed heard petition of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur seeking details of cases against him.

"This problem has not yet resolved?" Justice Shakeel Ahmed questioned. "Problems still persist, we don't know cases registered in Punjab," Counsel Arshad Ahmed said. "Get bail if involved in any case in Punjab," Justice Shakeel said.

"If they will provide us details than we will go to courts. They are not providing us details of cases and nothing has been shared in writing till now," Gandapur's lawyer said. "It is unlikely that you could not provide him details. Provide details of cases registered against him, to petitioner," bench ordered.
