Bee Gul is counted among some of the best storytellers on Pakistani television. Her writing, the stroke of reality woven in the lines and how hard-hitting and at the same time relevant her writing is makes her presence important for the Pakistani drama and overall story-telling.

She is a feminist at heart and she speaks about important topics openly as she feels that discussions are important to break taboos. Bee Gul was a guest on podcast and she opened up about the exploitation that goes on behind the scenes.

She said that yes women who come into the industry have an idea that they will get offers of exploitation. This is the truth and we cannot really turn our eyes away from it.

In many cases, the starlets do take these offers as they know their potential and many a times they do not have a way to get those opportunities in the industry and society approved age bracket if they do not take those offers from producers or directors.

She also narrated the story of a friend on how she was not getting the lead roles as she was not ready to do these favours. Bee Gul went on to share that she herself has gotten these offers over the years.

An apartment in New York or Dubai or a 7 star vacation are common benefits that one can get but she made sure to not go for it ever but she still got the offers.
