Dr. Asim offers condolences to General Asim Munir

KARACHI: Dr. Asim Hussain, a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples' Party and former petroleum minister, expressed his heartfelt condolences following the passing of Army Chief General Asim Munir's mother.

In a statement, Dr. Asim conveyed deep sorrow, acknowledging the immense loss that General Munir and his family are enduring during this painful time. He shared that the loss of a mother is irreplaceable, and it leaves a void that is difficult to comprehend.

Dr. Asim also praised the late mother for her sacrifices and nurturing role, which helped shape the strong character of the Army Chief.

"At this moment of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with General Asim Munir and his family," Dr. Asim said.

"May Allah grant her eternal peace and give the family the strength to bear this immense loss." He also expressed solidarity with the entire military community, sharing in their sorrow as they mourn the passing of a beloved figure.
