Maryam orders early arrest of those involved in attacking Zainab Jamil

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered police to arrest the culprits who attacked former model Zainab Jamil. Taking to social media handles, the CM said, “Zainab Jameel was brutally shot at and as she walked out of her salon after work.

I have instructed DIG operations to employ all resources to arrest the culprits without delay. Zainab has Alhamdolillah survived. Crimes against women are being dealt with strictly and swiftly.” Zainab Jamil, responded to Maryam Nawaz’s post said, “Madam Chief Minister, you are the chief executive of Punjab and also a woman.

I hope for justice from you and your institution.” Former model and actress Zainab Jamil was attacked by two masked assailants when she was going to her salon in Lahore’s DHA Phase IV.
