KARACHI: A delegation of National Forum for Health and Environment (NFHE) headed by President Naeem Qureshi met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at Governor’s House. In meeting, measures to eliminate air pollution in province, plans to make Sindh greener and greener, importance of plantation in this context and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Governor said that along with education, health, measures to make province green and green are among his priorities, a green and clean province will not only improve environment but will also help in reducing air pollution. Tessori said that NGOs working in this sector will be strongly encouraged.

He said that there is a need to create awareness among citizens to improve environment, in this regard NGOs like you can play an important role. Naeem Qureshi informed Governor about plantation and other projects improving environment under forum.
