On this occasion, Executive Director Operations Ghulam Abbas Memon, relevant officers, and company officials were also present. He reviewed the satisfactory cleanliness measures in Keamari district and instructed further improvements in operations. He emphasized that the fundamental cleanliness issues faced by citizens in Keamari should be resolved on a priority basis.

He also interacted with the sanitary workers present there and inquired about their concerns. He stated that it is the company’s responsibility to address their issues on a priority basis so they can perform their duties with more dedication and honesty.

Furthermore, he instructed that awareness campaigns should be conducted to educate people about cleanliness and to prevent them from dumping waste in open spaces. In this regard, the district administration, town chairmen, and UC chairmen will cooperate in raising awareness.

During the briefing, the MD of SSWMB stated that, as per the agreement with the Fish Harbor Authorities, SSWMB has started cleanliness operations in the Fish Harbor Authority areas.

Garbage collected from temporary dumping points has also been cleared, and cleanliness work is being carried out on a daily basis. Additionally, efforts are being made to separately collect dry and wet waste from households to facilitate the recycling process.

MNA Abdul Qadir Patel appreciated the initiatives of SSWMB and welcomed the commencement of cleanliness operations in Fish Harbor Authority areas.
