SUKKUR: The Ziauddin College of Rehabilitation Sciences at Ziauddin University Sukkur Campus hosted the Orientation Day for the incoming batch of 2024 in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The day was dedicated to celebrating the commencement of the new academic term.

The event kicked off at 11 in the morning with a solemn recitation of the Holy Quran. Dr. Iqra Memoona Malick (PT) assumed the role of the program hostess, guiding the proceedings throughout the day. The Orientation Day was graced by the presence of Dr. Muhammad Usman Khan (PT), the Vice Principal of ZCRS and Sr. Project Manager at Ziauddin University and Hospital, Sukkur Campus. Dr. Khan warmly welcomed the new batch with an encouraging talk and also introduced the Faculty and non-teaching staff to the students.

The students exhibited great enthusiasm, actively participating in the event to familiarize themselves with the teaching and non-teaching staff. Dr. Muhammad Sharyar Khan (PT) added an informative dimension to the day by delivering a presentation on the Examination Policy and Paper Assessment Patterns at ZCRS. Post-event, Dr. Khushboo Marium (PT) took charge of distributing essential documents and library forms among the students, providing necessary support. The day was not just an Orientation but also marked the official Commencement Day for the new batch of 2024.

Furthermore, Ziauddin University is poised to unveil new academic programs for the year 2024. Currently, the university is actively accepting admissions for the 5-Year Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, providing aspiring students with an opportunity to pursue excellence in this field. Additionally, the announcement for admissions in Pharm-D (Doctor of Pharmacy) and Bachelors in Nursing programs is imminent, offering a diverse range of educational pathways for prospective students.
