6-member delegation of Pakistan wheelchair cricket team met with Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori

Karachi: A 6-member delegation of the Asian champion Pakistan wheelchair cricket team met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House. Member National Assembly of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Kishwar Zahra was also present in the delegation.

President of Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Board Rukhsana Rajput, captain Muhammad Zeeshan, vice-captain Syed Arslan Ahmed, Sajid Ali Abbasi, Imran Amin and Warseemuddin Sheikh were involved. Promotion of wheelchair cricket, organization of tournaments at the regional level, encouragement of wheelchair cricketers and other issues were discussed in the meeting.

Governor Sindh said that the promotion of wheelchair cricket is welcome, he will give all possible support for the promotion of wheelchair cricket. He added that the preparation of world-class players is the need of the hour. President of the Wheelchair Cricket Board Rukhsana Rajput said that the first Asia Cup was won by the national team in 2019 and they will go to Nepal to play the second Asia Cup in September. She further said that the vision of Governor Sindh for the promotion of sports is very clear.
