Administrators KMC, DMC East inspect construction of road near Civic Centre

Karachi: Administrator KMC Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman along with Administrator DMC East Syed Shakil Ahmed and others visited site of under construction of road near Civic Centre on University Road. Talking to media persons Dr. Saif ur Rahman said that we and officers of DMC East are working till late night to serve citizens, road is being constructed by DMC East, whose total area is a lakh 20 thousand square feet, efforts are being made to bring city out of municipal problems in collaboration with DMCs. KMC also trying for improvement in city via different development projects.

Shakeel Ahmed said that since taking charge, efforts have been made to provide facilities to citizens without adherence to limits in district East, while carrying out development works, it is not seen that it is limits of KMC or any other institution, our job is to provide relief to people. For first time in DMC’s, milling machine is being used in construction of said road, which automatically carpets layer of road, due to which construction of road is being done according to standard.

Former Deputy Mayor Arshad Hassan, Superintending Engineer Mubeen Sheikh, senior Director Tauqeer Abbas, senior Executive Engineer Imtiaz Bhutto, Executive Engineer B&R Syed Jamal Abbas, Directors Jam Rizwan, Zahid Bin Khalil, Deputy Director DM, Irshad Ali, Assistant Executive Engineer Rashid Fayyaz and In-charge Debris Removal Rao Shamshad were present.
