APBDF acknowledges Sindh-Georgia twin states with Revenue Minister Mehboob Zaman

KARACHI: Delegation of America Pakistan Business Development Forum (APBDF) acknowledged initiative declaring Sindh and Georgia as twin states passed by Georgia Assembly in meeting with Sindh Minister of Sindh for Revenue and Relief Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman.

Delegation was led by President Diplomatic and Political Affairs Aman Pir, co-founder, Secretary General Nasser Wajahat, President Pakistan chapter Shaikh Imtiaz, Sameer Shamsi and Noman Ahmedani as members.

Farooq Mughal, first Pakistani Muslim American elected to Georgia House of Representatives and President of Georgia Chapter of America Pakistan Business Development Forum was instrumental in convincing US government and Georgia House of Representative members to fully support this resolution.

This resolution’s concept was initially proposed by Syed Nasser Wajahat with full support of Chairman AmPak, Zeeshan Altaf Lohya and Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain. This is significant accomplishment for citizens of both nations and will contribute significantly to improvement of US-Pakistan in trade ties and business relations as well as bilateral relationship as whole.

Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman appreciated efforts of Farooq Mughal and team for achieving such historical milestone which will be beneficial for both US and Pakistan particularly Sindh. He ensured maximum support of Chairman PPP and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and entire Sindh government.
