KARACHI: Former Sindh Governor Lieutenant General (retd) Moinuddin Haider said that despite aorta of Pakistan being occupied by India, we have been alive for 76 years, it is matter of thought. Pakistan wasted many opportunities for freedom of Kashmir, Kashmir was attacked in 1965 unfortunately it was not successful. Addressing launch of Col. Iftikhar Ahmed’s book ‘Kashmir Taksim Ka Namkamal Ajenda Hai’ organised by Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi he said that it was said, “Pakistan should be strengthened first”. He said during time of General Pervez Musharraf, matter had progressed to great extent, but visit of Manmohan Singh should be postponed point in time.

Former Law Minister Barrister Shahida Jameel said that India is supporting terrorism not only in Kashmir but also in Pakistan. Terrorism in Peshawar Army Public School is vivid example of this. Boundary Commission overreached and annexed areas to India that were supposed to be part of Pakistan.

Secretary General of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Sheikh Mateen Ahmed said that partition of Kashmir is an incomplete agenda of Kashmir. Looking at what is happening with Muslims in India today, it can be concluded that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s two-nation theory was correct.

Bashir Saduzai said that during 76 years we failed to convince world. Indian leadership is busy strengthening India’s occupation of Kashmir with each passing time, we have to address it. Speakers said that this book should be included in syllabus so that young generation gets information about Kashmir.
