Humayun Saeed is an extremely popular Pakistani television and film star who is currently making headlines for his top-notch TV and film productions. His film Love Guru recently became a huge success, earning 85 crore PKR at the box office.

Nowadays, fans are loving him as Manto in ARY Digital’s mega-budget drama series Main Manto Nahi Hoon, which is written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Baig. The drama is receiving an impressive TRP of 12.4, with each episode garnering over 5 million views.

Recently, Humayun Saeed gave an interview to Ambreen Fatima, where he responded to reviewers who claimed that Manto is difficult to understand.

Talking about it, Humayun Saeed said, “I laugh at those who criticize me. Listen! It is their job. They are taking money for doing this like we are actors and we do dramas; they are also doing a drama, so! let it be. Also, someone showed me the hateful comments they are getting after those reviews, they were actually unbearable. I would request the people not to troll them, they are very senior actors who have been working for years.”

Humayun Saeed also said, “There should be a drama that raises questions and people should discuss it. I love when after episodes of Manto, people start debate and then get their answers in the upcoming episodes. It is pretty much understandable, those who are intelligent are understanding the story well”

Humayun Saeed further added, “All the actors in Manto read the script and instantly agreed to it because of the strong story. We should give credit to the writer for this beautiful script. Nowadays, actors aren’t fools, they know what they are doing, they are even more intelligent than those reviewing a drama.”
