Neelam Muneer, a renowned Pakistani actress, has recently become the center of attention on social media after her wedding in Dubai went viral.
The actress tied the knot with Muhammad Rashid, a man from Punjab, Pakistan. While the wedding itself was a joyous occasion, it quickly sparked public debate over her husband’s background and nationality. This led to a flurry of online discussions, with many actors creating vlogs to address the criticism surrounding Neelam’s marriage. Asma Abbas, a well-known actress, recently spoke out against the unnecessary criticism surrounding Neelam Muneer’s wedding. Expressing her thoughts in a heartfelt message, Asma addressed the public’s invasive comments and negativity. “Today, I want to talk about a viral news story that has been bothering me a lot. Pakistan’s talented and sweet actress Neelam Muneer has gotten married. She is such a beautiful soul,” Asma began, praising Neelam’s character. Asma recalled her personal experience with Neelam, describing her as kind and supportive during a difficult time in her life when her sister, Sumbul, passed away. “I remember her kindness when we were working on a project during the time my sister Sumbul passed away. She consoled me and took care of me,” Asma said. She further emphasized that Neelam is not someone involved in gossip or negativity. Despite Neelam’s well-wishes and happiness for her marriage, Asma expressed frustration at how the public’s curiosity had shifted from celebrating her wedding to speculating about her husband’s nationality and profession.
“MashaAllah, she has gotten married, but her marriage has sparked a whole new debate about her husband. Initially, you all were curious about his nationality, and then you started discussing his profession. There is a limit to everything,” she remarked. Asma concluded by urging people to stop focusing on the negative and instead focus on sharing in the joy of others. “You all seem so much interested in spicy news. Please, stop. Why are you so curious about her life? I’m so happy for her that she got married at the right time. Please try to be happy for others in their happiness,” she said, calling for kindness and support rather than unnecessary criticism.
