Bilawal Bhutto pays rich tribute to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid homage to former Prime Minister Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on his 95th birth anniversary.

He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was symbol of power of people. 95th birth anniversary of founder of PPP Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is being observed today.

Chairman PPP said that Bhutto is an ideology that those who tried to erase became nameless in history, Bhutto’s name still resonates in streets of Pakistan and all corners of world. He said after Quaid-e-Azam, Shaheed ZA Bhutto was most popular leader of nation. He said that transformation of Pakistan-China relations into an unbreakable friendship is also distinction of Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Bilawal Bhutto said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave workers right to form trade unions and ended anti-labour policies. He did agricultural reforms and gave lands to landless farmers and homes to shelterless. Similarly, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf paid glowing tributes to services rendered by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for country saying these will be written in golden words.

He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto sacrificed his life against dictatorship and for promotion of democracy in country. He said Shaheed Bhutto made country’s defense impregnable by laying foundation of nuclear programme. He said former Prime Minister also gave Constitution of 1973. Minister of State for Industries and Production Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party believes to serve nation and country while addressing 95th birth anniversary of ZA Bhutto at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology in Islamabad.
