Upper Dir: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari vowed to increase salaries for all government employees by whopping 100 percent if his party was given another chance at power.

Addressing public rally in Upper Dir, Bilawal said PPP raised salaries of government employees whenever his party came into power.

Blasting caretakers, Bilawal noted that inflation had soared to historic level in country, adding that unemployment and poverty were increasing on daily basis. He said that incumbent rulers did not care about people’s sufferings.

“Politics of hatred and division” is harming people, PPP leader said, noting that politicians would have to “Leave such politics to steer country out of crisis”. Firing fresh salvo at “Old politicians”, he said their “Ego” was root cause of all problems. “They bent on personal enmity instead of political opposition.”

Bilawal slammed PML-N and clarified that his party supported PDM-led government to solve country’s economic issues. He said, “You have seen real faces of mehangai league [PML-N] and PTI.” “You will have to give PPP chance live given to Shaheed Bhutto”

He said that PML-N and PTI have same goal. He said that PML-N wanted to take revenge after coming into power. Bilawal said his party was unaware that PML-N would take revenge when they were coalition partners.

“We will implement 18th Amendment and NFC Award after winning election.” He was of view that 18th Amendment and NFC Award were not fully implemented. PPP leader called for unity in fight against terrorism and inflation.
