CM Murad, Chinese envoy discuss ties

KARACHI: New Consul General of China in Karachi Yang Yundong called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah here at CM House. Chief Minister welcoming new consul general of China in Karachi said that friendship between two countries was founded by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Since brotherly relationship between two countries has gone on strengthened with passage of time.

Shah told new council general to consider Sindh as his second home. He added that provincial government and people of province value brotherly relationships with Chinese. Visiting consul general thanked Chief Minister for his support and cooperation. Both discussed ties between two countries.

Meanwhile, Murad Ali Shah has granted special remission to all convicted prisoners languishing in Prisons of Sindh Province on eve of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Chief Minister through summary floated by Department granted special remission to all convicted prisoners languishing in Prisons of Province on the eve of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr for 120 days, except condemned prisoners convicted of murder, espionage, subversion, anti-state activities and terrorist activities and those undergoing sentences under Foreigners Act 1946. In this regard, home department would issue notification.
