Flag hoisting ceremony: Consulate General Malaysia celebrates 67th Malaysia National Day

KARACHI: Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi commemorated 67th Malaysia National Day with flag hoisting ceremony, exemplifying spirit of unity and progress that Malaysia has achieved over years.

Event took place at Consulate General premises and was attended by students and other Malaysians residing in Karachi as well as esteemed friends of Malaysia. Flag hoisting ceremony was remarkable display of national pride and solidarity, reflecting Malaysia’s journey towards prosperity, diversity and harmony. Ceremony began with resonant notes of Malaysian national anthem, filling air with patriotic fervor.

Consul General of Malaysia Herman Hardynata Ahmad along with guests, raised Malaysian flag, symbolising nation’s triumphs and aspirations. Herman Hardynata Ahmad emphasised significance of Malaysia National Day, reflecting upon rich history and remarkable achievements that have shaped nation.

He underscored Consulate General’s commitment to strengthening bonds of friendship between Malaysia and Pakistan, two countries with deep historical ties. Students, Malaysian community residing in Karachi with their families and friends of Malaysia attended.

It demonstrated strong bilateral relations and people-to-people connections that Malaysia and Pakistan share. As part of celebrations, attendees were treated to feast of Malaysian delicacies, allowing them to savor unique flavors of Malaysia. Consulate General expressed gratitude to all attendees for making ceremony resounding success.
