Gold price drops by Rs300 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Wednesday, aligning with the global decrease in rates. The cost of the yellow metal per tola stood at Rs216,100 after a reduction of Rs300 during the day.

The 10-gram gold rate also saw a drop, selling at Rs185,271 following a decrease of Rs257, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In contrast, the previous day had seen an increase of Rs300 per tola in gold prices within Pakistan. According to APGJSA, the international gold rate exhibited a $3 decline, settling at $2,047 per ounce, maintaining a $20 premium.

Silver rates also experienced a slight dip, decreasing by Rs10 and settling at Rs2,650 per tola.
