Govt appoints 8 members of NIRC

ISLAMABAD: Government has appointed 8 members of National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC). Information Ministry has issued notification in this regard in light of Cabinet approval.

According to notification issued by Ministry of Information 8 persons have been appointed as members of NIRC. They are retired civil servant Syed Noor ul Hasnain, retired district and sessions’ judges Abdul Qayyum, Sohail Akram, Muhammad Zubair Khan and Shabbir Hussain Awan, Muhammad Siraj ul Islam Khan, Abdul Ghani and Munawar Hussain Toori have been appointed from lawyers’ side.

Cabinet had accorded approval for making appointments on these vacant posts on summary of Ministry of Information. These posts were lying vacant since last 9 months.
