HCCI meets with Acting Sindh Gov Agha Siraj, discuss issues

Karachi: Acting Sindh Governor Agha Siraj Durrani interacted with visiting 9-member delegation led by Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI)’s President Adeel Siddiqui. Patron Chief Muhammad Ikram, senior Vice President Najamuddin Qureshi, Vice President Owais Khan and Mirza Hassan Masood Baig, Muhammad Adnan Khan, Ijaz Ali Rajput and Nawab Qureshi were present. 

Siraj said he will inform federal and provincial government about issues being faced by businessmen and industrialists and raise these problems at relevant forum. 

He said that traders are backbone of national economy and they have key role in development of country’s economy. He said that province is badly affected by floods, especially farmers are suffering from severe problems. In this regard, business community should come forward to help victims. 

He said that victims are in need of tents, medicines, mosquito nets and ration. Agha Siraj said that building of Sindh Assembly is of historical importance, proceedings of assembly are broadcast live in order to get update their representatives are highlighting their problems on floor. 

Delegation thanked Acting Governor and showed confidence assurance given by Governor would be materialised.
