KARACHI: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh on Wednesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan traded the freedom struggle and the right to self-determination of Occupied Kashmir in exchange for the prohibited funding from the Indians.

In a statement, he demanded the constitution of a joint investigation team (JIT) to inquire into funding to the PTI from India and Israel.

He said that PTI leader Shahbaz Gul's statement against the army was actually the statement of Imran Khan. “Imran Khan is plotting to spread chaos and anarchy in the country and the army on the instructions of his foreign masters,” he added.

Imtiaz Shaikh said that the PTI chairman was spreading poisonous propaganda against the country and the army. “But Imran Khan can never succeed in belittling the beloved country and the army at the behest of his foreign masters,” he added.

Imtiaz Sheikh said that Imran Khan's declaration of war and jihad was an attempt to escape from his corruption, adding that no patriotic person could support Imran Khan's narrative.

He said that the nation was united and foil all attempts of the PTI chief against the country and the army.
