Indonesian CG launches housing pilot project in Thatta

Karachi: Indonesian Consul General Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat visited Thatta in interior Sindh around 3 hours outside Karachi to officially launched pilot project of Indonesian housing dedicated to flood victims. 

Housing project was initiated by Dompet Dhuafa an Indonesian humanitarian NGO that works together with Pakistani NGO, We CARE. According to Herdiansyah, Field Manager of Dompet Dhuafa, house is designed to be flexibly developed to meet further needs in future (growing house concept). 

Launching was also attended by representatives from Indonesian National Disaster Countermeasure Agency-BNPB.  Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat encouraged Indonesian community giving more assistance to Pakistan as two brotherly Muslim country have long-lasting ties.
