MULTAN: Bangladesh under-19 team reached Multan on Tuesday with former Indian Test cricketer Wasim Jaffer accompanying the young side for their full-fledged tour of Pakistan after 15 years hiatus.

Jaffer, the batting consultant for the Bangladesh U19 team, has played 31 Test and two One-Day Internationals for the Indian team and remains the highest run-scorer in India’s premium first-class tournament – Ranji Trophy. Bangladesh U19 side will engage in a four-day match before three ODIs and two T20  against the national U19 team. All the matches will be held at Multan Cricket Stadium. The tour will commence on November 4 with a four-day match that ends on November 7.

The three ODIs are scheduled on 10, 12 and 14 November. Meanwhile, the two T20Is will be played on 16 and 18 November. In order to attract the maximum crowd, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced free entry into the stadium for the series’ matches.
