JDC-supported House of Education’s grand Sports Day held

KARACHI: Pakistan’s first International Standard Free School, House of Education hosted inaugural sports day under JDC management in Karachi. Over 300 students at Muhammad Siddique Memon Sports Hall showcased their sporting talents in colourful attire, captivating audience with various activities.

At beginning of event, nursery and kindergarten children presented flag hoisting, march-past, national anthem and beautiful recitation of hamd and naat in charming manner. Audience applauded with enthusiasm. Oath-taking and sports competitions for children commenced. Prizes were distributed among winners of various races and competitions.

School principal Shazia Shabab shed light on school’s establishment and highlighted academic and extracurricular achievements of first batch of students. She praised efforts of school staff and expressed gratitude to parents for their support.

As special guest, Hamza Tabani CEO of Tabani Group of Companies, credited Zafar Abbas General Secretary for success of Pakistan’s first International Standard Free School and other successful projects of JDC. Hamza Tabani commended excellent organisation of event and presented special appreciation to school administration, particularly Zafar Abbas.

Former Test cricketer Sadiq Muhammad, international cricketer Khurram Manzoor, cricketer Masooma Jaffri, scout leader Akhtar Meer, trader Al-Haider and social leader Murad Sohni joined in distributing awards to successful students.
