KBBA announces awarding Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed Gold Medal to Sindh Governor for his services in sports

KARACHI: Karachi Basketball Association under the patronage of Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon will hold Governor Sindh Inter-District Basketball Tournament in Karachi after the National Games, this was announced by BBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori.  Meeting was held at the Governor House. On this occasion, Muhammad Hyder Khan, Zavalafiqar Abbas Khan, Muhammad Dilawar Khan and others were present. Ghulam Muhammad Khan expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Sindh for his great patronage of sports and expressed the hope that the tournament organized in the name of the Governor of Sindh has been closed for the last 5 years, so this tournament should be restarted.

The patronage of this important sector will continue, on this occasion the Governor of Sindh said that this tournament should be started after the national games and efforts should be made to include one team from each division headquarters of Sindh in this tournament.

On this occasion, he paid great tribute to Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon for his unparalleled services in sports and announced that at the end of this tournament, Mohammad Iqbal Memon will be presented with the Good Performance Award for his services in sports. Also, on the request of Ghulam Muhammad Khan, he announced the restoration of the Governor Sindh Sports Award which was given in the past in collaboration with the Sindh Olympic Association, while Ghulam Muhammad Khan, with the permission of KBBA, announced the restoration of the Governor Sindh Sports Award. Zalufiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed Gold Medal for services in sports announced.
