KARACHI: Residents of District Korangi and landhi Union Council No 6 are deprived of blessing of water despite paying their water bill.

On Muharram, District Korangi, Landhi Union Council No 6 was made a hotbed of problems. Resident of area took a video of valve man on spot and was told that he was to be opened at 11 o’clock at night, but after wasting 11 hours He opened valve at 10 am. Entire areas of Tolandhi Korangi are irrigated through government water lines, but Landhi Water Board XEN officers Abrar and Abid have been ordered to open 16 chouris and I am unable to open 26 drain pipes.

This is testimony to incompetence of Jaber and Yazid XEN officers of Water Board, while 10,000 valves have been fully opened and Zamanabad, 37A, 4A, and 36B have been destroyed to irrigate these areas.
