Lyari Labor Club wins Kashmir Cup U-14 Boxing Championship

Karachi: Chairman of Sindh Olympic Association Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah has said that the struggle of Kashmiris will be continuing successfully until achieving their destination and their sacrifices will not go in vain.

He was speaking on the occasion of distribution of prizes in the closing ceremony of one-day "Kashmir Cup" Karachi U-14 Boys and Girls Boxing Championship organized by Sindh Boxing Association, Ustad Ali Muhammad Qumbrani at Boxing Stadium, Kakari Sports Complex, Lyari.

 Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput, Vice President Syed Mahfouzul Haque, Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh, Associates Secretary Khalid Rahmani, Sindh Boxing President Asghar Baloch, Commissioner Karachi Sports Coordinator Haji Ghulam Mohammad Khan, International Hockey Player Akhlaq Ahmed, Ghulam Yasin and Abid Naeem, former international boxer Abdul Rauf Qureshi, Rustam Baloch, Sher Muhammad, Muhammad Amin and others were present.

In the one-day championship, 114 boys and girls boxers from all districts of Karachi participated, 51 matches were held and 15 matches were held in the final. Earlier, Karachi Division Boxing Association Secretary Abdul Razzaq thanked the guests and informed about the details of the championship. Lyari Labor Boxing Club won the first position with four golds while Kemari Boxing Club won the third position with 3 golds.

In 30 kg Muhammad Ayan beat Ryan 3-0, in 32 kg Asim beat Muhammad Arif 2-1, in 34 kg Mubasher beat Irfan 2-1, in 36 kg Shakeel beat Jalal 2. -1, in 38 kg Mustafa beat Ghulam Nabi 2-1, in 40 kg Shoaib beat Sameer 2-1, in 42 kg Arbaaz beat Sameer 2-1, in 44 kg Muawiya Fahad 3-0, Mohammad Ayan defeated Sajjad 3-0 in 46kg and Mohammad Ali Shah Jr defeated Mohammad Jawad 3-0 in 48kg in front of a large crowd.
