Momina Iqbal fuming over negative spin social media has put on her recent comments about receiving messages from cricketers. In her Instagram story, she blasted those spreading “False things” for attention. She clarified, “I never said anything wrong or negative about any cricketer.” Even if someone had messaged her, she asserts, “I would have handled it myself.”

Expressing her displeasure, actress condemned propagation of negativity for personal gain, particularly criticising those who exploit controversies to garner attention for their channels.  She emphasised importance of mutual respect among individuals, emphasising that unity and positivity are vital for well-being of nation.

Responded to interview question Momina clarified that these messages typically consist of well-wishes and greetings, with no specific recollection of cricketers’ names.
