Nadia Jamil appeals to join her in fight against child abuse

Actress Nadia Jamil has led charge in pushing for improved circumstances for orphaned children, giving those who are sold into prostitution or beg loud voice. Actress used her Twitter account today to inform fans that demonstration against child sexual abuse and neglect will take place on Liberty Roundabout in Lahore. Actress has continuously used her social media platform to inform her fans about children's rights, emphasising significance of parents seeking mental health evaluation and counselling before deciding to have children.

Jamil said that her personal experience of being sexually abused as child motivated her to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and to push for improved laws protecting children. She expressed her desire to be more responsible and look out for kids in her immediate vicinity. "Tomorrow is #Jan5th Please tag as many Lahores as you can, 2 ask them 2 show up @ Liberty Market Roundabout @ 11am. We are walking 2 #SayNoToChildAbuse Be part of solution. Silence encourages crime! Give voice 2 children who have no voice. Step out of your comfort zone."
