PESHAWAR: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said entire nation was highly indebted to KP police which was fighting against terrorists with bravery and valour.

“You are God’s chosen group who are fighting for State’s security, martyrs deserve paradise while opponent group is destined to be hell forever,” he said while addressing officials of KP Police at ‘Police Darbar’. He said security forces always fought fearlessly with terrorists, keeping in mind Allah’s promise that those who were on right path, would never get afraid of enemy.

“War you are fighting is morally correct, you should do your duty with utmost belief, courage and confidence,” he remarked. Paying tributes to Shaheed Siffat and Shaheed Malik Saad, Kakar said that they were assets of KP Police. Recalling barbarism by terrorists in APS incident in Peshawar some years back, he said cruelty of terrorists who targeted innocent children would never be forgotten.

He said death was ultimate reality which might occur to anyone, any time, so there was no need to be afraid. “Every attack from terrorists will be responded with more power and in ferocious manner.” He pointed out terrorists were hampering process of development and prosperity of country. “They are cowards, cruel, senseless and shameless.” He announced to look into issue and demands of KP Police.

Inspector General Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat Gandapur said provinces of KP and Balochistan had been under war against terrorism for decades. He said KP police was committed to uprooting menace of terrorism and eliminating other crimes.
