Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has made a triumphant return to Pakistan and is currently addressing a massive political gathering at the iconic Minar-e-Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif, who has held the position of prime minister three times, arrived at Greater Iqbal Park via helicopter, having touched down at Lahore airport earlier. His return was marked with a warm welcome by PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz.

Excited party workers and supporters proudly displayed party flags and banners, serenading Nawaz Sharif with the newly-released party anthem as his helicopter descended at the Royal Fort.

Prior to heading to the rally venue, Nawaz Sharif expressed his gratitude by offering prayers at the majestic Badshahi Mosque. He was then transported to the rally venue in a convoy.

Nawaz Sharif's homecoming has been a momentous occasion, with aerial floral showers and caravans of PML-N supporters and activists pouring in from all corners of the country to extend a historic welcome to the veteran politician.

The city of Lahore, Nawaz Sharif's hometown, has been bedecked with green and yellow party banners, posters, and flags, creating a vibrant atmosphere to mark the occasion.

Emotions ran high as Maryam Nawaz, standing at the stage, watched tears well up in her eyes upon spotting the helicopter carrying her father hovering over the Royal Fort.

The rally venue reverberated with the fervor of PML-N enthusiasts as they cheered for the party leader's walk to the stage, chanting "Nawaz Sharif for prime minister again."

In response, Nawaz Sharif waved to the jubilant crowds of PML-N workers and supporters. At the stage, he embraced Maryam Nawaz, Shehbaz Sharif, and Hamza Shehbaz, acknowledging their efforts in orchestrating a grand reception for his homecoming and effectively managing party affairs in his absence.

Prominent PML-N leaders, including Javed Latif, Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafique, Rana Sanaullah, and Abid Sher Ali, also joined in to greet the former premier upon his return.

Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to deliver a momentous address at the Minar-e-Pakistan venue in Greater Iqbal Park.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence that the Minar-e-Pakistan rally would go down in history.

Speaking to Nawaz Sharif over the telephone on Friday, Shehbaz Sharif conveyed that the entire nation was eagerly anticipating the return of the three-time prime minister to the country.

Nawaz Sharif's landing in Islamabad marks the end of his four-year exile, and his party is optimistic that he will secure a fourth term as Pakistan's prime minister in his illustrious political career. Subsequently, he disembarked from the chartered plane to consult with his legal team in the State Lounge.
